Do you want to quickly send a message to all of the groups in a collection or all of the events in a calendar? With broadcast posts, you can.
To create a group broadcast post, go to the admin homepage, click "Local Groups," and then click the name of the collection. From here click "Broadcast Post."
For events, go to the admin homepage, click "Calendars," and choose the appropriate calendar. Then click "Broadcast Post."
From this page enter the post's title and body. Then click to send and the post will be added to all of the groups in the collection or all of the upcoming events in the calendar.
