Decision Makers Tab
The decision makers tab lists information about the decision makers that have been added to the effort by admins and/or supporters.
From this page, admins can add and remove decision makers. They can also see which decision makers are unpublished – these decision makers will have an unpublished tag next to their name. Admins can also filter the list of decision makers into a few different views:
- The All view will show all decision makers. If the decision maker does not have a petition associated with it, you can create one (that will use the default petition text) by clicking the Create Campaign button.
- The With Petitions view will only show the decision makers that have associated petitions. These petitions may be fully launched or draft petitions. If the petition is a draft, it will have an unlaunched tag next to its title.
Petitions that remain unlaunched for more than 24 hours are considered abandoned and require admin intervention. You can learn about abandoned petitions here: https://controlshiftlabs.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115006790008#abandoned.
This view also includes the leader column. If you need to remove a leader from a petition, you can do that from this view. This article: https://controlshiftlabs.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/228568987-Step-4-Recruiting-Local-Leaders#remove will explain how.
- The Without Petitions view will show you the decision makers that do not have associated petitions. You can create a petition for the decision maker (using the default petition text) by clicking the Create Campaign button.
- Each of these views includes tags about the status of the decision makers – whether published or unpublished – and includes the ability to remove the decision maker from the effort.
Finally, this tab also includes an Export link. Clicking here will export a CSV with information about the decision makers included in the effort.
The petitions tab includes information about the petitions associated with the effort.
The All view lists all of the petitions that are included in the effort and includes information about the campaign leaders and signature totals.
From this tab you can click the funnel icon to filter petitions based on certain criteria. Clicking the export button will generate a CSV of petition information.
The Leaderboard view shows you the top five petitions by signature count. From the leaderboard page you can also copy an iframe code that allows you to embed the leaderboard into an external site. This can be useful if you want to show which campaigns within the effort have received the most signatures. Just copy the iframe code and paste it into an external site to embed the leaderboard. The Abandoned view shows you the petitions that have been left in a draft state and abandoned by their creators. These petitions require admin intervention. You can learn about abandoned petitions here: https://controlshiftlabs.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115006790008#abandoned.
